ABEL Christmas Donation

The annual Christmas donation has become a small tradition at ABEL. This year, the kindergarten “Abenteuerland” in Büchen and the DLRG (German Life Saving Society) in Zarrentin can look forward to a donation.

Unfortunately, the kindergarten “Abenteuerland” in Büchen was recently affected by a water damage. The children and the educators had a very restless time due to this event and had to move to other premises within Büchen.

After contacting the kindergarten, it turned out that a new set of building blocks made of foam was urgently needed for the group room. This wish is now financed by the ABEL donation. The large set of building blocks has already been ordered and will be delivered soon to the kindergarten. Furthermore, fruit and small sweets for the upcoming kindergarten Christmas party were handed over to make the children happy already.

The second organization to be supported with an ABEL donation is the DLRG Zarrentin. The DLRG makes an important contribution to our society and was also involved during the flood disaster in the Ahrtal. During the rescue operations, the equipment is of course also heavily used. The DLRG would therefore like to use the donation from ABEL to purchase new diving equipment. Furthermore, part of the donation will be used to support youth work and training.
